Believe it or not, Dogs crave many of the same things that humans do. A warm and toasty spot to sleep, tasty food that blesses the belly, lots of love, protection, structure, human connection, touch and above all the comfort of consistency i.e. knowing that he can count on someone. I know that this is what you want for him too.
From a very young age, I have always loved dogs but it wasn’t until my current dog Noel walked into our home and straight into our hearts. My wife and I adopted him at 2 years of age when his previous owner gave him up for adoption due to some personal reasons. As a pup, he was rescued from the street after being physically abused by some humans. Although we were trying our best to win over his trust, he was extremely anxious, would bark excessively looking through the windows & was extremely aggressive towards other dogs.
Eager to help him and our family, I started self-learning about dog behaviour and practising positive training techniques with Noel. He rekindled my passion for dogs which led me to quit my corporate career and take up professional dog training full time.
I officially launched “The Alpha Connect” in Jan 2019.
At The Alpha connect, our goal is to help connect the dog with the parent through positive reinforcement and leadership to build trust and confidence.
